M | H Candle Co. was designed in 2020, with the quest to obtain the perfect candle. After many test burns, endless hours of product research, and drudgery, M | H Candle Co. was created. Each signature scent is derived from names reflective of streets important to our family. Whether it is the different streets the boys were born on (Rockwood and Tindal), the street they grew up on (Southbourne), or the street my mother lived on most of her life (Kingston), each candle has a strong personal meaning. Our M | H labeled candle is a seasonal candle, which allows me to bring in fragrances for each season or just to try different scents throughout the year. Each candle is hand poured (currently in my kitchen) in Greenville, SC.

The dark base of palo santo and patchouli meld with musk and smoke. A heart of aromatic sage and cypress nestle under top notes of bright spruce and sparkling bergamot to create a soothing atmosphere.

Some basic steps to help ensure you achieve the optimum burn with your
M | H Candle are as follows:
To ensure an even burn, light the wick across the candle as opposed to at only one end
Let the candle burn until the wax melts out to the edges of the container. You may have to let it burn anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Even if the flame appears to burn low at times, it will continue to burn. Ideally, a 3 to 4 hour burn time is recommended.
Protect the candle from areas where breezes, ceiling fans, and drafts are present
Do not move or handle the candle when it is burning
Maintain the wick and a length of between 1/8 and 1/4 inch. If the height of the flame exceeds 1 ½ inches or if the candle starts to smoke, blow out the candle, let the wax and wick cool down. Then, softly run your fingers across the top of the wick to trim it. Before you relight the candle, remove all wick trimmings.
The candle is designed to extinguish itself when 3/8 inch wax remains
Pickup and Delivery available for local orders. All orders placed after noon on Thursdays, will be processed the following Monday. Deliveries are made weekly on Wednesdays.
